Back to School

Here is Shawn heading out the door for his first day back after an eventful summer. I think he and I both are glad to see him back to work :)
This year he is teaching Senior Psychology and a Study Skills class. He is sad to not be teaching Health anymore (the program got cut), but it will be a good experience for him.

Scott & Hillary's Wedding!

Scott and Hillary were married in the San Diego temple this past weekend! Bryan, Cecilie, Everett & Reis were able to come visit us in Los Angeles before we all headed down for the weekend.
Here are some pictures from our trip to the beach. For some reason I didn't get any pictures of Cecilie all weekend - but she was there!
Reis figured out what the sand bucket is really for.

Meanwhile, Everett's favorite activity was chasing the birds. He finally got some help from little brother.

The day before the wedding we were able to go to Sea World. The kids really loved it, and I felt like I hung in there pretty good for a giant pregnant lady at a theme park!

Here are the boys with the sea lions. Reis looks like he is not too sure about them.

The Shamu show was amazing! We got all splashed pretty good!

Then it was time for the wedding!

It was a beautiful day at the temple.

Here are Shawn and I outside after their wedding. This will also have to serve as my 22 weeks picture since I never got a chance this week to take an official one.

My mom with Everett and the handsome Groom.

The Ring Ceremony was in the backyard of a family friend of Hillary's, and it was so amazing with a view of all of San Clemente and the ocean. I did not get many pictures of Hillary unfortunately, but she looked unbelievable!

Here is a look at the view and Shawn looking handsome in his tux!

Congratulations to Scott & Hillary! We are so excited to have Hillary as the newest member of the family!!

21 Weeks

This week I am 40 inches and feeling pretty big. This picture is my first official day of wearing real maternity jeans. I have been getting by with my regular jeans and a belly band, but I finally had to give in. The babies move around a lot now and give some pretty good kicks at times. It's fun to feel like they really are in there!

We Have A Shed!

After Shawn's race, he had enough energy to build our new shed in the back. He got some help from our good friends Scott and Lee. We need to make room for the babies, and the new shed has become a very necessary part of that plan. It turned out great and the worker-boys did a good job!

Shawn's 31 Mile Race

This past weekend Shawn ran a 31 mile trail race in the mountains. The course is known for being one of the hardest around - it's even called "Mt. Disappointment"! But he did an amazing job and finished in 4 hours and 40 minutes and 6th overall out of hundreds of racers! Here is what he looked like at the finish. He looks like he could do it all over again! I was honestly more exhausted than he was :)

20 Weeks

The latest belly pic! Shawn is always teasing me that I have trouble keeping my eyes open in these pictures. He says I have "sleepy eyes" - but I try so hard to keep them open! It's a curse :)
I measure at just over 39 inches this week, so perhaps I have plateaued for awhile.

A Boy And His Bike

Shawn has been wanting a new mountain bike for the longest time (his last one got stolen from our old apartment). So he saved up his money from graduation and birthday gifts, and I came home a few weeks ago to this new bike.

He LOVES it. He goes out with some friends a few times a week and always comes home covered in dirt and mud. Thanks to everyone who helped make the new bike possible!
